Job Title: Forklift Driver
Location: Colchester
Pay Rate: -13.12 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 6:00pm
Job Type: Temporary - Ongoing

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join a well-established manufacturing and production company in Colchester.

This is a key role within a large and busy warehouse operation. The position will involve working across multiple departments, so a flexible and proactive approach is essential.

Please note: this role is not solely forklift-based, with approximately 60-70% of duties carried out off the truck.

Duties will include:

• Working across various areas within the logistics department
• Loading and unloading vehicles (by hand and using a forklift)
• Picking and packing components using paper pick lists
• Completing paperwork accurately
• Using internal computer systems
• Stock control and stock counting
• Packing and labelling finished goods safely
• Occasional use of hand tools

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience within a warehouse and logistics distribution and supply chain environment
• A valid Counterbalance Forklift licence (Reach licence advantageous)
• Good literacy and numeracy skills for paperwork completion
• Basic computer skills
• Strong communication skills
• A good level of physical fitness
