Location: Colchester, Essex

Hours: Monday to Friday, day shifts (typically 08:30 - 17:00)

Pay: -13.50 - -14.00ph (experience dependant)

Prime Appointments are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative with a valid Counterbalance Forklift licence for a busy warehouse in Colchester, Essex.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability the right candidate.

This is a varied role combining forklift work, general warehouse duties, and occasional 3.5-tonne van driving, so a full UK driving licence is essential.

Duties of the Forklift Driver:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift to load, unload, and move stock
• General warehouse duties, including unloading containers
• Booking stock in and organising goods within the warehouse
• Using the in-house CRM system to track stock movements and maintain accurate records
• Occasional local deliveries using a 3.5t company van

What we''re looking for in a Forklift Driver:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence (essential)
• Full UK driving licence
• Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
• Able to work independently and use your own initiative
• Previous logistics distribution and supply chain experience preferred
• Basic IT confidence for internal systems

Pay & Hours:

• -13.50 - -14.00 per hour (experience dependant)
• Monday to Friday, day shifts (typically 08:30 - 17:00)
• Temporary to permanent opportunity for the right person
