Forklift Driver

Pin Point Recruitment-is seeking a skilled-Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative-to join a busy manufacturing environment in Colchester. This role would suit a motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a friendly and supportive team.

The RoleThis is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business operating within a Food Production Sector.

Key ResponsibilitiesDuties will vary depending on operational requirements. Typical responsibilities include:

• Picking and packing orders
• Receiving and dispatching goods
• Conducting inbound and outbound goods inspections
• Packing incoming stock away and rotating stock, including pallet handling
• Reviewing orders to ensure accuracy
• Maintaining warehouse health & safety procedures at all times, including housekeeping and equipment maintenance
• Maintaining space efficiency within the warehouse
  

Candidate RequirementsThe successful applicant will possess:

A valid counterbalance forklift licenseRelevant experience in logistics or warehouse operationsThe ability to work independentlyA strong work ethicExcellent attention to detailBasic computer literacyThe ability to learn quicklyStrong organisational skillsGood communication skills
