Forklift Driver

Favourable day shifts (Apply online only Dynamic manufacturing environment with training potentialIMMEDIATE start, 42 hour weeksWe are currently recruiting for a time-served Forklift (FLT) Driver with an in-date Counterbalance certificate from an external, accreditating body.This is an exciting role for a leading logistics and distribution business, that is enjoying year-on-year growth. As part of their fulfilment team, you would be utilised both on and off the MHE. As such, we require candidates who are comfortable with more physical warehouse duties; this is not a 100% forklift driving role, so please do not apply if this is your priority.As part of our FLT Driver position, your daily duties will include:- Daily operation of a Counterbalance fork lift, helping to sequence pallets and load lorry trailers- Pick and pack orders using a PDT- Stacking and wrapping pallets- General housekeeping of your work station- Operating of machines- Quality assurance- Maintaining a fast pace of order fulfilment with your colleaguesRate of pay for this role will be circa 12.64 per hour.Days of work: Monday to FridayWorking shift: 7am-4pmQualities desired:- Minimum 12 months experience working as an FLT Driver- In-date MHE certificate- Willingness to get involved in general production / factory duties- Strong work ethic with a good attention to detail- Good sense of humourBenefits include internal training, staff welfare initiatives and some overtime opportunities.If you are interested, ..... full job details .....
