Are you a skilled Forklift Counterbalance Driver looking for a new long term opportunity with a caring, well paying employer? £15.00 per hour rising to £32,000 permanent after 13 working weeks Flexible starts - 6pm to 10pm Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Operative to join our pallet operation. This is a 100% forklift role with no manual handling, focused entirely on the loading and unloading of double-deck trailers in a fast-paced yard and warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Operate a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently at all times Load and unload double-deck articulated trailers with stacked pallets Ensure pallets are well handled and positioned Carry out daily forklift checks and report any defects Follow site procedures and loading plans accurately Communicate effectively with various teams and departments Requirements Valid, in-date Counterbalance forklift licence (RTITB / ITSSAR / AITT or equivalent) Proven experience loading and unloading trailers - single or double decked Looking for a long term permanent position Confident handling pallets at height and in tight trailer spaces Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Comfortable working in a busy, high-volume pallet environment Hours of work: Night shift from - Monday to Friday - 8.5 hour shifts Start times between 6pm - 10pm, flexble starts Pay: £15ph with weekly pay rising to £32,000 once permanent ..... full job details .....
