Forklift Driver - Nights - Part Time

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Operative to join our pallet operation. This is a 100% forklift role with no manual handling, focused entirely on the loading and unloading of double-deck trailers in a fast-paced yard and warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Operate a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently at all times Load and unload double-deck articulated trailers with stacked pallets Ensure pallets are handled, stacked, and positioned correctly to prevent damage Maintain high standards of health and safety compliance Carry out daily forklift checks and report any defects Follow site procedures and loading plans accurately Work efficiently to meet daily throughput and productivity targets Communicate effectively with transport and yard staff Requirements Valid counterbalance forklift licence (RTITB / ITSSAR / AITT or equivalent) Proven experience loading and unloading double-deck trailers Confident handling pallets at height and in tight trailer spaces Strong awareness of health and safety regulations Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Comfortable working in a busy, high-volume pallet environment Hours of work: Evening/Night shift - You woudld need to work 3/4 4 hour shifts per week.
