Manpower UK is seeking a Forklift Driver to support warehouse operations at their site in Louth. This temporary role, paying up to £14.21 per hour, involves the safe operation of a counterbalance truck to move goods, load vehicles, and maintain stock accuracy. Candidates must hold a valid licence and have previous FLT experience. The position follows a rotating shift pattern, covering early and late starts, with weekend work required and days off provided midweek. As the location on the outskirts of Louth lacks public transport links, possessing your own reliable transport is essential. Location
Based on the outskirts of Louth, this site is not accessible by public transport, so candidates must have their own reliable means of travel.
Shift Pattern
This role operates on a rotating shift basis, and flexibility to cover both patterns is essential:
- Week 1:
Monday to Thursday: 6:00am - 2:00pm
Friday: 7:00am - 6:00pm - Week 2:
Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Sunday: 7:00am - 6:00pm
Weekend work is part of the role, with days off provided during the week on a rotating basis.
Pay Rate
- £14.21 per hour
Key Duties
- Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
- Assist with day-to-day warehouse and yard operations
- Transport, organise, and store stock across yard and warehouse areas
- Use handheld scanning devices to monitor stock movement
- Provide support across various operational tasks as required
Requirements
Experience
- Previous experience as an FLT Driver
- At least 1 year of Counterbalance FLT experience
Qualifications
- Valid, in-date Counterbalance FLT licence
Skills andamp; Personal Attributes
- Comfortable using scanning and stock control equipment
- Flexible approach with willingness to support multiple duties
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
