FLT / Stores Person – Birstall

We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT / Stores Person to join our client''s team based in Birstall.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.80 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick spare parts orders.
• Pack orders securely and appropriately for transportation.
• Dispatch parts orders with the correct paperwork and maintain detailed records.
• Receive deliveries, inspect goods and documentation, and report any discrepancies to the Assistant Parts Manager.
• Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to load and unload goods.
• Allocate new stock to suitable warehouse locations and maintain accurate stock records.
• Follow stock rotation procedures and best practices where required.
• Store parts safely within the correct warehouse locations.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations, taking responsibility for your own safety and that of others.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the Parts Manager.
