Forklift Operator / Labourer 6 Weeks ASAP Start We''re looking for a reliable, experienced, and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join a busy logistics and warehouse team based at Chippenham. Role: Temporary Forklift Operator / Labourer Contract: Temporary, 6 weeks Start: ASAP Shifts: Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week As Forklift Operator, you''ll support day-to-day goods-in, storage, and dispatch operations, moving stock safely and efficiently across the site. Key responsibilities of the Forklift Operator role include: Safely operating a counterbalance/reach forklift truck in a fast-paced environment Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing HGV trailers and delivery vehicles Transporting pallets and materials to designated storage areas and high-bay racking Conducting mandatory pre-shift and post-shift equipment safety checks, reporting defects immediately Picking, wrapping, and staging products accurately for dispatch Maintaining a clean, tidy, and obstruction-free workspace and warehouse floor Assisting with general warehouse and manual handling duties when required What we''re looking for: Applicants for this Forklift Operator role must hold a valid, accredited forklift licence/certificate (e.g. RTITB, ITSSAR, or equivalent) for the relevant truck type, with a minimum of 1 year''s proven commercial forklift operating experience.
