Production and Forklift Operator
We are recruiting a Production and Forklift Operator to join the Glenrothes site of a successful international organisation.

This varied, hands-on role involves handling heavy raw materials, keeping production machinery supplied and supporting the wider production team.
Essential requirements
- A valid forklift licence
- Previous forklift-driving experience
- Experience operating larger-capacity forklift trucks, ideally up to seven tonnes
- Previous overhead-crane experience
- Experience within production or manufacturing
- A strong understanding of workplace safety
Key responsibilities
- Drive/Operate large Forklift Trucks (up to 7 tonnes) Load and unload steel coils using overhead cranes
- Keep production machinery supplied with materials and consumables
- Operate power presses when required
- Inspect components and incoming materials
- Assemble and pack products for dispatch
- Complete physical stock counts
- Follow all safety, quality and operating procedures
Shifts
1 week- Monday to Friday 8am-4pm
2nd week- Monday to Thursday 2pm-11.30pm Friday off.
OT is available.
We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious operator who can manage different priorities, work independently and support colleagues across a busy production environment.
This is a good opportunity for an experienced Forklift Operator, Production Operator or Materials Handler who wants greater variety and responsibility, backed by the security and development opportunities of a major international employer.
