Forklift Driver

East Bridge Recruitment are currently recruiting for multiple Forklift Operatives for work based out of the port of Tilbury,

Pay rate is -13.50 ph including attendance bonus

Duties will include order picking unprocessed raw beverage commodity produce which can be in heavy sacks and Timber panel produce.

Hours of work are starts working Monday to Friday + OT when available.

This will be a hybrid FLT / Warehouse role approximately 60-70% scanning and handling produce, 30-40% FLT operating.

Using hand Scanners.

This can be a physically demanding role.

Temp to Perm assignment for reliable candidates, Immediate starts available

Must have a valid Counterbalance FLT licence or valid in house CB FLT licence to be considered.

Summary

As a Forklift Operator, you will be essential in ensuring efficient materials handling and warehouse operations. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for loading and unloading goods, utilizing your core skills in forklift operation and warehouse experience. Your premium skills in warehouse management systems and equipment repair will enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, your relevant skills in mechanical knowledge, basic math, and heavy lifting will support shipping and receiving tasks, contributing to the overall productivity and success of our logistics team.
