Forklift Driver - Counterbalance

Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Forklift Truck Driver to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely within this production facility. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving processes, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and materials management. Responsibilities Operate vehicles to transport goods to various locations in a timely manner. Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks within the warehouse environment. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups using a Warehouse Management System (WMS). Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and report any mechanical issues for repair. Perform basic equipment repairs as necessary to ensure operational efficiency. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations during loading and unloading processes. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road and in the warehouse. Requirements Proven experience in a forklift truck role, preferably within a warehouse or logistics environment. Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, including materials handling techniques. Experience operating forklifts is highly desirable.
