Forklift Driver - Temporary – Permanent

This role is based within a busy chemical waste yard environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck and supporting general yard duties. This is an outdoor role, so candidates must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.

Duties for the Forklift Driver role:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving and organising chemical waste materials around the yard
• Ensuring all materials are stored correctly and safely
• Following strict health and safety procedures due to the nature of the products
• Supporting general yard duties as required
• Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment
• Working as part of a team to meet operational targets

Experience for the Forklift Driver role:

• Must hold a valid, in-date external Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck is essential
• Experience working within a yard or industrial environment is beneficial
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Happy to work on rotating shifts
• Awareness of health and safety procedures
• Reliable, punctual

Shift Patterns Available for the Forklift Driver role:

8am - 5pm After taken permanent you will be required to be able to work Rotating shifts.
