Forklift Driver - Builders Merchants

Our client is a well-respected independent timber & builders merchant. Due to their continued success and expansion, we have a fantastic opportunity as we are recruiting a Forklift Driver / Yard Operative to join their existing team.-

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• To be the first point of contact for customers arriving at the branch
• Ensuring that the yard is kept tidy and health & safety is adhered to at all times
• Ensuring goods are checked, accounted for and loaded on correctly-
• Provide good customer service and good advice on products for their customers
• Assist with the the unloading and loading of deliveries using a forklift

The ideal candidate would need to have a good knowledge of timber and building materials and have previous yard experience or maybe from a warehouse or labouring background. If you haven''t-got good knowledge of timber and building materials, don''t-worry as training can be provided if you have a good attitude and want to learn.-
