Forklift Driver

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Counterbalance / Storesperson to join a busy manufacturing and warehouse operation in Coventry.This is a hands-on role combining forklift work with general stores duties, supporting both goods-in and production operations within a fast-paced environment.Hours: 6am-2pm Monday to Friday - must be flexible to work rotation shifts 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm during busy periods.Pay rate: 12.83 per hourContract: Temporary to PermanentKey Responsibilities:Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficientlyLoading and unloading deliveriesMoving stock within the warehouse and production areasPicking, packing, and preparing items for dispatchBooking goods in and out using internal systemsSupplying materials to production lines as requiredConducting stock checks and maintaining accurate recordsKeeping the work area clean, organised, and safeFollowing all health and safety regulations at all timesRequirementsValid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB/ITSSAR or equivalent)Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or manufacturing environmentGood understanding of stock control processesAbility to work both independently and within a teamStrong attention to detail and reliabilityDesirable SkillsExperience within a manufacturing or automotive environmentKnowledge of warehouse management systems (e.g. SAP)Additional forklift licences (Reach, Bendi, etc.)ASC Connections Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions ..... full job details .....
