Forklift Driver

Apex Resources Ltd are seeking a number of skilled Counterbalance Forklift Drivers in Renfrew area. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently to handle materials, assist with shipping and receiving, and support overall warehouse operations. This role requires attention to safety, and experience in warehouse management systems. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience to contribute to a dynamic logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and handling of goods
• Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records
• Perform routine equipment inspections
• Handle materials safely, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Support with stock organisation, storage, and retrieval tasks
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment
• Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow efficiency

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence with proven experience in operating forklift trucks safely
• Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems
• Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Good understanding of materials handling procedures and shipping & receiving operations
• Basic maths skills for inventory counts and documentation purposes
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Hours of work, dayshift and backshift rotation

1 week dayshift Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

Other week Monday to Friday 1pm-9pm

Paid weekly at -13.75 per hour
