Forklift Operator / Warehouse OperativeLocation:HoddesdonWorking Hours:Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:45 PMContract Type: Temporary to Permanent Role PurposeTo safely operate forklifts to unload incoming deliveries (approx. 6 lorries per day), while supporting warehouse production and operational activities throughout the shift.Key ResponsibilitiesForklift OperationsUnload up to 6 lorries dailyEnsure all goods are handled safely and efficientlyAccurately check deliveries against paperworkReport any damages, shortages, or discrepancies immediatelyStore stock in designated warehouse locationsWarehouse Production SupportSupport production operations outside of unloading timesPicking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatchAssisting with labelling, assembly, or processing tasksHelping maintain productivity across the warehouse General Warehouse DutiesMaintain a clean and organised working environmentFollow all health and safety regulationsPerform daily forklift checks and report any issuesAssist with stock counts and inventory controlWork collaboratively with the wider team Skills and RequirementsValid Forklift Licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach preferred)Previous experience in a warehouse environmentGood understanding of health and safetyReliable, punctual, and team-orientedFlexible approach to work and tasks Key ExpectationsEfficient unloadingHigh levels of accuracy and careAbility to multitask between forklift use and production dutiesCommitment to maintaining a safe work ..... full job details .....
