This is a busy, fast-paced environment, and we are busy busy!. Commutable from :- Birmingham, Bearwood, Sutton Coldfield, Minworth, Solihull, Aston, Moseley, Walsall, Harbourne, Oldbury, Tyseley, Aldridge, Tamworth, Wednesbury, Rugeley, and Willenhall DUTIES Operating forging machinery safely and efficiently. Driving Fork- Lift Trucks to move materials and finished products. Operating overhead cranes to handle heavy metal components. Loading, unloading, and handling hot and cold metal products. Carrying out quality checks and following production schedules. Maintaining high housekeeping and safety standards. Working 12-hour Day shift 4 on / 4 off REQUIREMENTS Previous experience in a forge, heavy manufacturing, or engineering environment is preferable, but other backgrounds will readily be considered such as steel, metal handling or CNC FLT licence/experience though not essential as training will be offered Overhead crane experience preferred. Comfortable handling heavy metal products and working in a physically demanding role. Strong commitment to health and safety. Reliable, motivated, and a great team player.
