The Forge Operator Role:Set and operate machines to produce fasteners to strict tolerancesSupporting in the production areas in the slitting and shot blastingUndertake training on all machines to ensure 100% flexibility in the workplaceUses gauges and measuring equipment to ensure product meets required specificationsSelf certification of your personal workKeep all computer files and manual paperwork accurate and up to date at all timesResponsible for producing SPC charts and recordsTo actively take part in locally focused, or multi-functional continuous improvement teamsEnsure housekeeping is maintained to the highest standardsEnsure all quality procedures are adhered toWork as fully flexible team member within the Company to maximise levels of production and qualityTo adhere to all company EHS requirements and actively participate in the identification and elimination of hazards.
