We are recruiting an energetic and nurturing  Forest School Teacher / Practitioner  for a forward-thinking  Alternative Provision (AP) in Burnley .  This position offers a clear  temp-to-perm pathway  for someone who thrives outside of the four walls of a standard classroom. You will lead outdoor education and practical woodland sessions for children and young people who have faced barriers in mainstream schooling, including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, neurodiversity (ASC, ADHD), and school-related anxiety.   Role &amp; Key Responsibilities     Plan, risk-assess, and deliver practical, therapeutic Forest School sessions across primary and secondary AP cohorts.    Lead bushcraft, tool work, shelter building, campfire cooking, nature craft, and conservation tasks to promote self-esteem, teamwork, and resilience.    Use outdoor, hands-on activities to embed functional skills, sensory regulation, and emotional literacy.
