Provide high quality care to detainees in police custodyManage a variety of health needs from drug and alcohol dependency to acute medical episodesBe trained to collect forensic samples that support police investigationsJob details

As a Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional you will be trained to collect forensic samples and provide clinical care in custody settings in partnership with police and other agencies. Experience in forensics is not required as full accredited training is provided.Qualifications

Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Paramedic with current NMC or HCPC registrationFull UK driving licence with less than 6 pointsRight to work in the UK and have lived in the UK for a minimum of three years prior to applicationEnhanced DBS clearanceExperience

Minimum three years post qualification experienceStrong communication and decision making skillsWillingness to complete accredited forensic training within the first yearDisclosure and Barring Service Check
