Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Foreman will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations within the sheet metal department, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the required quality standards. Key responsibilities include: Supervising and supporting a team of sheet metal operatives. Planning and allocating daily workloads. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings. Overseeing fabrication, forming, cutting, folding and assembly processes. Ensuring production targets and deadlines are achieved. Carrying out quality checks and maintaining high standards of workmanship. Supporting the team with technical issues and problem-solving. Monitoring materials, tools, and equipment.
