Foreman / Senior Foreman Civils Location: Gatwick Airport, West Sussex Sector: Civil Engineering / Aviation Employment: Permanent We are currently recruiting for an experienced Foreman / Senior Foreman to join a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering a programme of infrastructure works at Gatwick Airport. The role will involve taking responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of site activities and operatives across a range of civil engineering works within a live airport environment. Projects will include infrastructure alterations and extensions, demolition and enabling works, external works and upgrades to existing operational facilities. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate site operatives and subcontractors. Manage the day-to-day delivery of civils works on site. Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. Coordinate labour, plant and materials. Deliver daily briefings and toolbox talks. Ensure works are carried out in accordance with RAMS and site procedures. Monitor progress against programme and report any issues or delays. Work closely with Site Engineers, Site Managers and Project Managers. Maintain high standards of health and safety and site organisation. Take responsibility for allocated areas and packages of work.
