Working Foreman - Kitchens & Bathrooms

Location: Midlands

Salary: -26.26 per hour umbrella paye

Hays are recruiting on behalf of a leading contractor for an experienced Working Foreman to oversee kitchen and bathroom refurbishment projects within occupied and void properties.This is a genuine Working Foreman position, combining site supervision with hands-on trade work. You''ll be responsible for managing operatives and subcontractors, maintaining programme delivery and quality standards, while still being willing to get involved on the tools when required.

The Role

• Lead kitchen and bathroom refurbishment projects from start to finish
• Supervise site teams, subcontractors and deliveries
• Ensure health & safety standards are maintained at all times
• Conduct quality inspections and oversee snagging works
• Coordinate project activities to ensure programmes are achieved
• Carry out hands-on work where required
• Liaise with tenants, clients and project stakeholders

This role is typically a 50% supervisory / 50% hands-on split, although there may be periods where more practical involvement is required between projects.

What We''re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Working Foreman, Supervisor or Lead Tradesperson
• Strong background in kitchen and bathroom installations
• Experience within planned maintenance, social housing or refurbishment projects
• Ability to manage multiple trades on site
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• A proactive approach to problem solving and site management
