Job Type: FreelanceStart Date: ImmediateIndustry: Civil Engineering / Housing GroundworksLocation: HampshireSalary and Package: £250 - £300 per day The Role and About the Client ITS Building People are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Foreman on behalf of a well-established groundworks contractor delivering a large-scale residential development in Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected contractor on a 12-month contract, overseeing housing groundworks and associated infrastructure works. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising day-to-day site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with programme and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To: • Supervising day-to-day site operations across housing groundworks projects.• Managing site operatives, subcontractors and plant to ensure works are completed safely and on programme.• Overseeing drainage, foundations, groundworks, manholes and kerbing installations.• Supervising Section 278 (S278) highway works in accordance with project specifications and local authority requirements.• Coordinating labour, materials and plant to maximise productivity on site.• Ensuring all works are completed to the required quality standards and project specifications.• Carrying out daily site inspections and promoting a strong health and safety culture.• Liaising with the Site Manager, engineers and subcontractors to ..... full job details .....
