Foreman - 6 months- Earthworks

Unite People are recruiting an experienced General Foreman for a six-month civil engineering contract. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, with a focus on earthworks and piling, ensuring works are delivered safely, to specification and in line with the programme. Key responsibilities: Supervise earthworks and piling activities, coordinating labour, plant and subcontractors. Plan daily works and manage interfaces between earthworks teams and piling contractors. Monitor progress, quality and productivity, reporting to the site management team. Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, RAMS and site safety procedures. Deliver daily briefings and toolbox talks. Maintain site records and identify issues that could affect delivery. Requirements: Previous experience as a General Foreman on civil engineering projects. Proven experience overseeing earthworks and piling operations. Strong understanding of plant movements, site logistics and safe working practices. Ability to lead site teams and coordinate specialist subcontractors.
