Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Design Technology Teacher with experience delivering Food Technology, looking for a new opportunity in a successful secondary school in Tameside?Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a flexible and innovative Design Technology Teacher, with the ability to teach Food Technology, to join a well-regarded secondary school in Tameside. This full-time, long-term maternity cover role is due to start in October 2026, although an earlier start can be accommodated for the right candidate. The position is expected to last for at least 9 months and offers a daily rate of up to £241 per day, depending on experience and M scale point.To join us and be successful in this Design Technology Teacher role, you will need to:Hold QTS Status or QTLSBe subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checksProvide a CV with full employment/education history with any employment breaks explainedHave the legal right to work in the UKThe roleThe successful candidate will teach Design Technology with a focus on Food Technology across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
