We are seeking a creative and passionate Art and Design Teacher to join a secondary school setting. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver a broad and engaging curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop creativity, confidence, and practical skills.
The successful candidate will teach across a range of design disciplines, supporting students to explore different materials and techniques while achieving strong academic outcomes. This role is suitable for both Early Career Teachers and experienced practitioners.

Key Responsibilities• Plan and deliver engaging Art and Design lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Inspire creativity and encourage students to explore a range of design disciplines
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching where required
• Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
• Contribute to curriculum development within the Design department
• Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents or carers
• Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in Art and Design
• Ability to teach across a range of design disciplines desirable
• Passion for creativity and student development
• Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
