Are you an experienced Food Technology Teacher or a passionate educator looking for a new challenge£ We are recruiting on behalf of a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Gravesend for a dedicated teacher to start in January 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Food Technology to secondary-aged students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and SEND requirements.
- Plan and deliver creative, practical lessons that meet individual learning needs.
- Ensure health and safety standards are maintained in the classroom and kitchen.
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and the wider SEN team to support student progress.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3/KS4 level.
- Previous experience in an SEN or SEND setting is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management and differentiation skills.
- A patient, empathetic approach and commitment to inclusive education.
