Food Technology Teacher - Greenwich, South East LondonRemedy Education 180- 230 per day Full-Time, Long-Term ASAP StartRemedy Education is recruiting for a passionate and experienced Food Technology Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Greenwich, South East London.This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who can bring Food Technology to life through engaging, practical lessons, inspiring students to develop their cooking skills and build their understanding of nutrition, food preparation and kitchen safety.The RolePlan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4.Teach practical cooking skills, food preparation techniques and nutritional knowledge.Ensure students follow food hygiene and kitchen safety procedures.Adapt lessons to support pupils with varying abilities and learning needs.Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe, positive learning environment.Prepare ingredients, equipment and resources for practical lessons.Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement.RequirementsQTS is highly desirable.Previous experience teaching Food Technology in a secondary school.Strong knowledge of food preparation, nutrition and food hygiene.Confidence delivering practical cooking lessons and managing a food technology classroom.Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.Excellent communication and organisational skills.An Enhanced DBS on the ..... full job details .....
