The Role

Deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to small class groups.
Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
Create a positive and structured learning environment.
Support students in developing practical cooking, nutrition, and independent living skills.
Work closely with pastoral teams, support staff, and senior leaders.
Encourage positive behaviour and build strong relationships with pupils.
The Ideal Food Technology Teacher

The successful Food Technology Teacher will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.
Strong classroom management skills.
A patient, adaptable, and resilient approach.
Experience within PRU, SEMH, alternative provision, or SEN settings is highly desirable.
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people.
