Food Technology Teacher - Peterborough - Immediate Start Aspire People are currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join a secondary school in the Peterborough area with an immediate start. This is a specialist Food Technology teaching position and is not a general cover role. We are therefore looking for a teacher with genuine experience of teaching Food Technology, Food Preparation and Nutrition or a closely related subject within a secondary school setting. The school is looking for someone who can confidently take responsibility for their classes, deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons and provide pupils with consistency from the outset. The role will involve: -Teaching Food Technology / Food Preparation and Nutrition across the secondary age range-Planning and delivering engaging practical and theory lessons-Ensuring high standards of health, safety and hygiene within practical lessons-Managing classroom behaviour effectively-Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback-Working collaboratively with the department and wider school team-Creating an inclusive learning environment where pupils can develop practical skills, independence and confidence We are looking for: -A Food Technology specialist with relevant secondary teaching experience-QTS, QTLS or an appropriate teaching qualification-Strong subject knowledge within Food Technology / Food Preparation and Nutrition-Experience delivering practical ..... full job details .....
