Food Technology Teacher

A Secondary School based in Redbridge are looking for an experienced Food & Catering Teacher to join their team on a supply or permanent basis for the rest of the academic year. This position can start asap or in January. We are looking for someone who can deliver more vocational teaching over your standard GCSE style teaching.

Responsibilities
• Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
• Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils
• Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
• Plan and teach well-structured lessons and provide resources
• Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
• Make accurate and productive use of assessment
• Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment

Requirements
• Must hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications for the UK
• Must hold the Right to work in the UK
• Must hold an enhanced DBS or be willing to process one
• Must be able to provide a minimum of 2 professional references to cover the last 2 years
