Full-Time Food Technician - Secondary School - Huyton Are you passionate about food, nutrition, and supporting young people in a practical learning environment?We''re looking for a full-time Food Technician to join a friendly secondary school in Huyton, playing a key role in supporting engaging and safe food technology lessons. What you''ll be doing: Preparing ingredients, equipment, and resources for Food Technology lessons Supporting teachers during practical sessions to ensure lessons run smoothly Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised food tech classroom Ensuring health and safety and food hygiene standards are followed at all times Supporting students during practical work and encouraging confidence and independence Managing stock, ordering supplies, and helping with food prep where required What we''re looking for: Someone available to work full-time, Monday to Friday during term time Experience working in a school, kitchen, or food preparation setting (desirable but not essential) A good understanding of food hygiene and health and safety practices Confidence working with secondary-aged pupils (11-16) A reliable, organised, and proactive team player with a positive attitude What you''ll get in return: A welcoming and supportive school environment where your role is valued Hands-on experience in a secondary school setting Opportunities to develop your skills within education Free training and ongoing support to help you succeed ..... full job details .....
