Food Technician

Are you passionate about food and education? Now Education is working with a welcoming secondary school in Loughborough who are looking for a Food Technician to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support practical lessons and play a key role within a busy Design and Technology department. The Role: Preparing ingredients and equipment for Food Technology lessons Supporting teachers and students during practical sessions Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment Monitoring stock levels and ordering supplies where required Ensuring health and safety and food hygiene standards are followed What we re looking for: Experience working in a kitchen, food prep, or school environment (preferred) Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards A proactive, organised, and reliable approach Ability to work well as part of a team Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply) What we offer: Competitive daily pay Support from a dedicated consultant Opportunity to work in a supportive school environment Potential for the role to become long-term or permanent This role would suit someone with a background in catering, hospitality, or education support who is looking to move into a school-based setting.
