Food Service Supervisor

to oversee the daily operations of our buffet-style restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner to up to 1,000 guests per day. You will lead a team of food service staff to deliver consistently high standards of service, ensure buffet stations are well presented and replenished, and uphold hygiene, safety, and guest satisfaction standards at all times.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and support front-of-house food service teams during all meal periods.Ensure efficient setup, presentation, replenishment, and breakdown of buffet areas.Manage the flow of service during busy periods to ensure minimal wait times and optimal guest satisfaction.Monitor food quality, temperature, and presentation in collaboration with kitchen staff.Maintain cleanliness and compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.Support training, scheduling, and performance development of food service team members.Ensure all staff adhere to uniform, grooming, and service standards.Conduct daily briefings and handovers with outgoing/incoming shifts.Perform stock checks and ensure service areas are adequately equipped.Collaborate with kitchen and FandB management to plan for high-occupancy days or special events.Requirements:Proven experience in a supervisory role within high-volume food service operations (preferably hotel or buffet-style dining).Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent customer service and communication abilities.Knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety standards (Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate preferred).Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure.Flexible and committed to working 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule (including weekends and public holidays).Working Conditions:Shift pattern:
