Food Service Assistant – Basildon (Temporary)

We are currently-recruiting for a-Food Service Assistant-to join our-client''s busy catering-team in-Basildon. This is an-excellent opportunity for-someone who enjoys-working in a-fast-paced environment-and takes pride-in delivering excellent-customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serving food and-beverages to customers
• Assisting with food-preparation and presentation
• Maintaining high standards-of cleanliness and-hygiene
• Operating tills and-handling payments where-required
• Restocking food and-beverage areas
• Following all food-safety and health-& safety procedures
• Supporting the wider-catering team with-daily duties

Requirements:

• Previous catering, hospitality-or food service-experience is desirable
• Excellent customer service-and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual and-able to work-as part of-a team
• Food hygiene knowledge-is advantageous but-not essential
