OverviewA fully qualified Food competent Environmental Health Officer able to undertake food hygiene and food standards inspections in low to high risked premises, covering the work of a team colleague whilst on long term sick leave.

Responsibilities

Undertake food hygiene and food standards inspections in low to high risk premises.

Cover the work of a team colleague whilst on long term sick leave.

Work independently to undertake 120 - 150 inspections of premises over a period of 3 months.

Provide food business operators with inspection reports including legal responsibilities and best practice advice and a Brand standard Food Hygiene Rating Scheme rating.

Return paperwork to be inputted onto the database within 48 hours of inspections.

Undertake revisits where requested and escalate more serious issues to the Lead Officer for Food and Safety.

Qualifications

Completed either the Higher Certificate in Food Control (HCFC) or the Advanced Professional Certificate in Food Hygiene and Standards Control (APC-Food).

Fully qualified Food competent Environmental Health Officer.
