Food Safety Compliance Manager

Working on behalf of our client, a renowned chilled food manufacturer, Mach Recruitment are currently looking for a-Food Safety Compliance Manager.

You will ensure that the company meets all necessary legislative / agreed customer standards and food safety best practice guidance, through robust quality management and risk assessment approach.

Key responsibilities:

• Development of HACCP plan
• Work closely with QA and Operations teams
• Improve controls around food safety
• Run regular HACCP meetings
• Actively take part in customer visits and audits
• Conduct internal audits
• Work closely with customers

Skills and Experience:

• Ideally a Degree/HND in Food Science, Technology or Science based subject
• Extensive technical experience within food manufacturing
• Dealing with multiple retailers
• Trained to HACCP Level 3 as a minimum

Role:

• Permanent
• Salary DOE
• Monday to Friday
• 8.30am-5.00pm
