Food Safety and Quality Auditor

Your new company A well established food manufacturing business in the Newtownards area is seeking a Food Safety and Quality Auditor to join its Technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a food safety or quality professional to play a key role in maintaining and improving site standards while supporting compliance with customer, regulatory and industry requirements. The business operates within a fast-paced production environment and is committed to the highest standards of food safety, quality and continuous improvement.Your new role As Food Safety and Quality Auditor, you will be responsible for auditing and monitoring food safety, quality and compliance standards across the site. Reporting to the Food Safety and Quality Team Lead, you will conduct audits, inspections and quality checks to ensure products and processes meet HACCP, customer and regulatory requirements. You will support complaint investigations, maintain food safety records, monitor production compliance and work closely with Operations, Technical and Hygiene teams to identify and drive improvements.The role will also involve conducting GMP, hygiene, fabrication, CCP and pest control audits, analysing quality data, supporting corrective actions and helping to promote a strong food safety culture throughout the business.What you''ll need to succeed Previous experience in a Technical or QA role within food manufacturing, pharmaceutical production, or a degree in a food-related disciplineStrong ..... full job details .....
