Food Production Team Leader

Line Leader - Food Manufacturing Location: Manchester Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm Shift: Late Shift Type: Site-based Shift Cover: Required The Role We are looking for an experienced Line Leader to join a busy food manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing production on your allocated line, ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. You will lead, support and develop your team through training, coaching and mentoring, while leading by example and promoting a positive, proactive working environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of production operatives on an allocated production line. Ensure production targets, quality standards and customer requirements are consistently achieved. Monitor team performance, productivity and production efficiency. Ensure work is completed correctly and to the required specifications. Be competent in the safe operation and working knowledge of production machinery and equipment. Delegate tasks effectively to appropriate team members. Provide training, coaching and support to production operatives. Lead by example and promote positive working behaviours. Communicate company procedures, processes and changes clearly to the production team. Ensure all Health and Safety and food hygiene procedures are followed at all times.
