Food Production OperativeLocation: WarminsterShift: 7:15am - 4:45pmPay Rate: £12.21 p/hContract: Temp to permRole OverviewAs a Food Production Operative, you will work hands-on in the factory production area, supporting the full cycle of food preparation and packaging. You will handle ingredients, operate basic production equipment (after training), check product quality, weigh and portion items accurately, package finished goods, and ensure all safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.Key Responsibilities Prepare and handle ingredients before they enter the production line (sorting, measuring, portioning)Support food processing stages including mixing, preparing, filling, and portion controlWeigh products accurately according to production specificationsPack, seal and label finished food productsOperate basic food production equipment after receiving full trainingPerform visual quality checks (appearance, weight, packaging, labels)Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, following internal hygiene proceduresFollow food safety standards, including HACCP-based processesWear and use protective equipment (factory clothing, hair protection, gloves, hygiene gear)Report production or quality issues directly to the line supervisorWork efficiently both independently and as part of a production teamHelp load, organize and prepare goods for dispatch and storage when required Requirements Strong attention to detailAbility to follow instructions and safety procedures ..... full job details .....
