You will be working for a leading food manufacturing company producing jams and conserves.Details of a Food Production Operative: Rate of Pay: £15.10 per hour for day shifts and £17.32 per hour for night shiftsHours of Work: Monday to Thursday, rotating 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am shiftsLocation: CambridgeDuration: Ongoing Role of a Food Production Operative: Operating and taking ownership of production processes to meet business targets Working within a team to deliver high-volume production Monitoring the production area to achieve safety, quality, cost, delivery and performance targets Controlling production processes to ensure products meet legal and quality requirements Operating machinery and managing the assigned production area independently Following Good Manufacturing Practice at all times Following all health and safety procedures as a priority Ensuring products meet all specifications and performance standards Completing accurate production records to meet due diligence and traceability requirements Recording production activities, actions and ingredients accurately Requirements of a Food Production Operative: Relevant production or food manufacturing experience Able to commute independently to the site Flexible to work additional hours occasionally to meet business needs Comfortable carrying out manual handling duties Able to work rotating day and ..... full job details .....
