Gi Group is recruiting a Production Operative to join our client''s busy food production site in Scunthorpe (DN15). This is an excellent opportunity for a Production Operative who wants to make a direct impact on operations and product safety within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Rate of Pay for Production Operative: -13.33 per hour Production Operative Working Hours: 2:30pm to 10:30pm, Monday to Thursday ( Friday 13:30 - 20:30 ) Key Responsibilities of a Production Operative: * Operate production and packaging lines to meet daily output and quality targets. * Follow SOPs and food safety procedures to ensure products are produced to required standards. * Carry out basic machine set-up, start-up and shutdown checks, and report issues to supervisors. * Monitor product quality (weights, seals, labels, visual checks) and remove/reject non-conforming items. * Complete production paperwork, traceability records and downtime logs accurately. * Support changeovers by replenishing materials, clearing lines and assisting with safe restart checks to...
