Recruitment is proud to be exclusively partnering with our client a leader within the Food industry to recruit a Food Process and Specifications Supervisor to join their existing team based in Ellesmere, Shropshire. Job Title: Food Process and Specifications Supervisor Location: Ellesmere, Shropshire Package: £30,000 to £34,000 (DOE) Hours: Monday to Friday - 8am to 4 30pm (flexibility on start/finish times due to business needs) Purpose of the Role: You will be accountable for technical aspects of the retail operation in conjunction with the Process and Specifications Manager, ensuring customer and legal expectations are consistently met in relation to Food Safety ,Integrity and Product Quality. Develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the equipment capabilities at the site Work as part of the site Process team ensuring that all NPD and EPD products are launched by fully utilising and adopting the NPD/EPD Development Process Support with the completion of actions to deliver specific process improvements to current practices and methodologies Support the site with the completion of site trials to validate the suitability of new/novel ingredients Support with trials on new/innovative equipment with the ability to measure and complete detailed accurate reports outlining the output of trials Have a clear understanding of any packaging innovation and site trials.
