Food Laboratory Assistant

Food Laboratory Assistant 6 Month contract Based in Reading 36 hours per week 13.12 per hour PAYE We welcome application from candidates who have worked in the food or hospitality food industry. The Opportunity: Provide high quality customer service at all times by ensuring effective organisation of assigned workload, integrity of analytical data generated and timely/accurate provision of results. Perform a range of basic routine analysis, product manufacturing and sample preparation under supervision of a senior member of staff. Perform laboratory tasks following specified methodologies, such as Standard Operating Procedures. Use of specified instrumentation and laboratory equipment, including calibration where required. Produce reliable, accurate data and keep accurate records of laboratory work undertaken and results. Follow product formulations and methods considering standard operating procedures and food safety to produce food products at bench scale or manufacturing.
