Food Category Manager

Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading London based client to recruit for a Food Category Manager. The role:You will be charged with the management and development of a specific range of categories to improve price, performance, and availability of your assigned categories. Key ResponsibilitiesTo assist in product planning,Negotiating of pricing and promotional activities.Participate in supplier and category reviews, contributing insights on trends, seasonal demand, and product performance.Build relationships with your suppliers, to ensure the best product offering for customers,Monitor supplier performance to ensure that all KPI''s are being adhered toMonitor stock levels to ensure product availability Skills and experience:Previous experience as a Buyer from a food businessStrong analytical skillsExcellent communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office programmes especially Excel 52277DHINDPROThe Portfolio Group are acting on behalf of our client in recruiting for this position. ..... full job details .....
