Weetwood Hall are looking for an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join us in this exciting opportunity to oversea our FandB operation, including restaurants, bars and function roomsWeetwood Hall is a beautiful Four-star hotel in Leeds, set within nine acres of stunning woodlands and gardens and built around a 17th Century Jacobean Manor House. Providing the very best in contemporary and unique guest experiences, our hotel is steeped in rich history with parts of our beautiful property dating back as far as 1540. Guests can indulge in the tranquil surroundings of our grand estate and escape everyday life with us. The hotel features 114 rooms, 20 conference and seminar rooms, a locally sourced modern menu from its Convive restaurant and is also a beautiful wedding venue. Weetwood Hall is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the University of Leeds and managed by 7 Hospitality Management.What will I be doing?As Food and Beverage Manager for Weetwood Hall we are looking for a positive can do attitude to drive exceptional standards and guest experience. You will be responsible for the following tasks;Take accountability for all FandB operations across the restaurants, bars and function rooms, reporting to the Operations ManagerControl of expenditure within FandB outletsIdentify and act upon opportunities to grow revenue and reduce costs within the FandB departmentEnsure full compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulationsEnsure the completion of the shift handovers and shift checklistsManage the day-to-day operation of FandB outletsPlan, coordinate and lead weekly FandB meetingsEnsure compliance with regard to food hygiene and hotel food and beverage systems in line with the company Food Policy and current legislationDeal with customer complaints ensuring effective outcomesUtilise personnel between all FandB outlets to minimise payroll expenditure and ensure flexibility of the team and optimise staff stabilityPrepare weekly staff rotasBe fully accountable for all team members within the FandB units in terms of recruitment and performance managementDevelop and train new and existing staff on hotel standards and procedures, to ensure all staff are fully trained.What are we looking for?A Food and Beverage Manager serving 7 Hospitality Management managed hotels is always working on behalf of our Guests, Owners and working with other Team Members.
