The successful candidate will have been in the industry for several years and will lead and support technical work for civil/structural engineering problems within a fluvial and/or coastal environment. You will report to a Senior Engineer and will contribute to the delivery of a range of engineering and environmental improvement projects, including options appraisal, concept design and detailed scheme design. You would be joining a dynamic team in Peterborough who are enjoying project success which has been recognised by industry awards.The work will involve a mixture of traditional consultancy appraisal and design, as well as design and build work alongside their Joint Venture partner who are one of the biggest contractors in the region. They are looking for candidates with sound technical knowledge, a positive and proactive mindset and the motivation to work proactively within the construction teams in a collaborative way with their Clients.Candidates should have experience of working in consultancy in the UK and for one of their main clients, the Environment Agency, would be advantageous.
