Food and Beverage Manager role at Ecotricity. Join Forest Green Rovers and contribute to a fast-paced, performance-driven team with a strong focus on sustainability and staff development.As FandB Manager, you will own planning, coordinating, and delivering hospitality services across match days and non-match day events. Lead a dedicated team, ensure premium food and beverage standards, and create memorable experiences for guests.Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations at the stadium, Eco Canteen, and training ground to ensure smooth and efficient departments.Lead and manage staff, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain high service levels.Review financial performance, including key metrics, trends, and innovative ideas.Ensure kitchen cleanliness, maintenance, and guest safety through regular inspections.Schedule and plan shifts to prepare the team for every event.Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and People teams to align operational goals with business objectives and maximize revenue.Develop innovative and tasty menus with the Head Chef, including allergen management.Manage inventory and ordering to ensure readiness for each shift.Monitor guest feedback and address any complaints promptly to maintain high guest satisfaction.Work with the Head of Commercial to maximise benefits from Food and Brewery Partners and local suppliers.Ensure compliance with health and safety, and environmental regulations (COSHH, ISO14001, AGF).Maintain clear cross-department communication for a seamless guest experience and operational efficiency.Oversee bars and FandB outlets, including the Fan Zone.Prepare reports with the Beverages team to review performance, optimise product range, and stock management.Manage the overall FandB budget, including pricing, costs, and gross margins.About You / The Ideal Candidate
Proven experience in hospitality or event management within a stadium, hotel, or large venue.Strong experience in FandB operations with a deep understanding of kitchen operations.Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail.Experience supervising a bar and strong leadership that inspires the team.Financial acumen including budget support, monitoring, and efficiency optimisation.Holding a personal licence is advantageous or willing to undertake the necessary course.Recent training in food hygiene and allergen management or willingness to undertake.Good communication skills and the ability to work within a small FGR team.Ability to work off initiative, be creative, and think innovatively.Commitment to sustainability, equality, diversity, and inclusion.Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays for matchdays and events.Other considerations
